Default Any idea what muffle this is?

Hello All,
So, my muffler is rusting really bad and I was curious if anyone could tell what kind of muffler this is. It is single middle intake and single offset outtake. 2.5 inch in and out. It's 13" long, 10" wide and 4"tall. It does have a MagnaFlow weld-on tip, but not sure if the muffler is MF as well, or stock. I LOVE the sound of it and would be curious which one it is. Any help would be great

Thanks

Judging by the shape and the rust, I'm thinking Flowmaster...Magnaflows are made of stainless steel.

Definitely not a magnaflow.

Looks like a flowmaster or flowmaster knock off.

Thanks for the knowledge! So, should I replace it with another FM or put in a new MF? I do drive through a lot of salt with all the snow we get up here, so a stainless steel would be nice. I am just afraid of not being happy with a different/new sound.

Magnaflow will sound different (probably quieter at idle and low rpm's/low throttle, but probably just as loud or louder when you step on the gas). Magnaflow will give more power than flowmaster though, every time.

Agreed! if you're afraid of the new sound, check out some videos on YouTube. I've had two magnaflow setups on my truck, here they are.
Headers and True Dual 22" Magnapacks

Single in Dual Out 18" Magnaflow

I am not to worried about the volume of the sound, but more the "throatyness" (is that a word?) I am thinking of getting a 14" universal Magna SI/DO (part # 12158 on the MagnaFlow site) and have the other pipe bent to go behind the left wheel. I don't have the cutouts in my bumper. Then getting another Magna tip to match the one I have on the right side.

so, I just got a 14 inch magnaflow single in/dual out. Does anyone know where I can get a pre-formed left tail pipe? I need it to go behind the rear tire, NOT straight out the back.
thanks

I just installed a Hooker Aero on my 2011 Ram and it really made a difference. I left everything else as it was and added torque, MPG and an awesome sound. The only other upgrade was a K & N air filter.
