Default What's mine run stock?

Title says it all. Its a new bone stock '13 Express quad cab 4x4 with 6speed auto and 3.92 anti-spin rear. Looked through other threads to get an idea but seems they are either different configuration or have mods. My home track is Maryland International Raceway (MIR). Ive seen DA as low as -1500 at times and always well prepped. Like when I raced mustangs, I'm only gonna run it when it's nice and cool. Should be good in a month or two, by then it'll be out of the break-in period anyhow. Thanks for the feedback.

You'd be very lucky to see high 14's in good DA bone stock
My best guess would be 15.3-15.5 at zero DA stock tires and wheels (20's) full weight.

Lose the spare/tailgate and get a cool evening with neg DA you might see a 14.9
.......... but only with tailwind.

lol. That's about what I figure, somewhere in the low to mid 15s. I'm not gonna lose tailgates and spares and all that. I'm done my serious drag racing days. I plan on a drop in filter and a cherry bomb vortex muffler and then calling it a day. Of course I said that with my mustangs too though. I appreciate your input.

My first pass was before my first oil change, July 2010 in 3000' DA
almost stock, just a catback and a drop in K&N...15.5's (RCSB 4x4 with 3.55's on 20's)

a year later (May 13, 2011) I hit 13.89/98.5
with intake,exhaust,tune and DR's.

This year I hope to break into the 12's with 8psi boost

...oh yeah, I was that guy that said "this ones stayin stock" lol

You won't see the 14's IMHO..... regardless of what you lose or what the evening's weather is.

My guess is 15.3 to 15.6 range.

Let us know if you do run it as is.

I know some posting here that ran 13.9's in a RCSB 2WD bone stock in negative DA
...an extra 600-700lbs for QCSB 4x4 (1 tenth per 100lbs) could certainly get 14.9 in neg DA if you run the numbers.
But yes, mid 15's is most likely.

DA is a huge factor though,
my best 13.89/98.5 would have been 13.4/102 at zero DA

in Neg Da like some of those guys who can run in the Winter at sea level...anythings possible.

OP said he's seen -1500 DA, I would die for that!
(I ran stock 15.3 at over 3000' DA)

I see a LOT of stock Rams running at our track getting mid 15's (all are 4x4's) and most are QC's
Our Elevation is 2300' and DA during summer months (only time our track is open) hits 3000'-4500'

Yeah -1500 Density Altitude is some serious assist but I'm still a little weary of breaking into the 14's.

With some serious tailwind and those negative DA numbers, yeah, now I can see knocking on 14's door and taking it by the horns.

I hope he proves me wrong.

Did you really say this one's staying stock upon purchasing it?

If you can run at -1500 you will be well into the 14's, I watched a 09 CC 4x4 not sure about gear, run 15.0 at our track at around +750. After I told him how to hit 2nd prime on up shift he went 14.9, he was bone stock and had no idea how to race. With the 392 anti spin you should not have any problems with traction so I say a 2.2 60' and 14.7-15.2 at anything close to 0 DA. Good luck, keep us posted, I am going to try and beat my best of 13.8 this fall. I should be able to now that I have my wide band in and see I'm running 10.5-11.2 AFR.

BINGO! spend enough time at a track
and you get a pretty good feel for what's possible.

Wide-Band is a great tool for sure,
mines running way too rich at WOT now that I've added water/meth ...10.3's
(Hit's 10.8's without it) If I can get that into 12's it will make a lot more HP.

MGH and Josh at HHP are finishing up tweaking Ripps broken tune tomorrow.
