It's a crackling popping sound...kind of a tsk tsk tsk sound that gets louder as the volume is increased....and yes it the the aux jack on the faceplate and yes they are all stereo cables.

well, ok. I'm trying to come up with something. Now this doesn't happen if a cable isn't connected, correct. I have a friend that has a contact @ mitsubishi. I send her an email to see if she can get any information. I know that you said the radio was replaced but that doesn't mean that there wasn't a bad run of parts or a SW issue in the radio.

Keep me informed and I'll do the same if anything new comes up in the next few weeks.....I told them I wanted to try a few things out before they start taking my dash apart.....I want them to replace the one speaker that SEEMS to be the problem...or at least disconnect it....

Taking the dash apart to go exploring is a bit extreme in my opinion....there's thing they can do before ripping stuff apart.

It appears to be only when a cable is plugged in the AUX jack on the faceplate. If you touch the end of the cable...the one not connected to the AUX jack...it get's worse....like there's a current or something

I'll try to make a video clip of all of it and post it up.

Having sound when you touch the cable end is normal. You'd have the same thing happen if you touched an RCA cable end plugged into an amp or receiver.

No problem. If you didn't know that would happen, you'd think something was wrong. I mean we don't have electronic noises running thru our bodies (hmm, or do we????)

I've tried 2 different phones, droid bionic and galaxy s3. Prior to updating I did not have issues with the random switching only Bluetooth quality. To clarify, whenever I am listening to my iPod the RBZ will randomly switch to radio or music on my phone via Bluetooth. I have downloaded the update twice and up loaded twice to the uconnect module. Any help would be fantastic. It's a 2011 model year Ram. I can get you the build date tomorrow.

I had the dealership do mine. Audio works perfect with my galaxy S3. If you show them the TSB or Customer satisfaction report (can't remember which it is), theyll handle it.

It's starting to look like my only option. I just don't care for dealerships and try to avoid them. Will it cost me anything?
