Default Recommendations on what to use for pulling trailer

I just bought a 28 ft trailer it weighs 6800lbs dry. Brought it home the truck pulls it great a little bounce to it but nothing to worry about. What if any recommendations does dodge nation have to pull it better. I have ordered some air bags for in my coils when I am pulling to level the truck out. But do you recommend tuners and which one and cold air intakes, and which one. I have always left my vehicles stock so I'm pretty new to this whole thing.
Thanks for any help

of course an equalizer hitch is a must and possibly an adjustable receiver to adjust the towing height of the trailer. my programmer helped a lot for extra power and better mileage.

Weight distribution/anti-sway combo hitch.

just use the WD hitch setup mentioned above
load your stuff in the right place inside of the trailer
Do a few trips while towing & then decide afterwards if you want to do MODs

a tuner doesn't improve your gearing in the rear end
if you have say the 3.21 rear end, putting a tuner on the engine, would be similar to putting lipstick on a pig

I went looking for the same things when I had my '09 Hemi. I added a Volant CAI, 18" Magnaflow and Superchips tuner. All of these things made my truck more fun to drive but no real noticeable improvement in MPGs while towing the TT. Maybe 1/2 to 1 MPG at best. Wind resistance is your biggest MPG enemy when towing a TT.

This is funny, but makes a good point.

Too funny. Ya I bought the sway Bars and equalizer hitch with the trailer. Thanks a bunch for the rest of the advise. I'll give it a whirl stock with my firestone air bag kit and go from there.

Make sure you know your weight limits of the truck with everything hooked up, I ran into this problem w/ my 1500 was over the GVWR so had to go buy a bigger truck

I'm sure you've done this already, and this probably sounds dumb, but I tow a boat and if you haven't used it yet, use the tow/haul selector and it'll be night and day difference in terms of your shift points. I have towed both using it and without and find that, without it selected, the trucks wants to hunt a lot for the right gear. I actually get BETTER fuel economy with tow/haul engaged. I'm not towing near the weight you are, but just thought I'd throw it out there as a suggestion.
