Default Rear end shudder

had this shudder for quite a while now at 65mph plus and it feels just like wheel balance is out, but moved tyres around and had new ones which has made no difference, then replacing the rear brakes I find the half shafts have about 5/6mm end float.
The boy who knows near me suggests LSD clutch pack needs renewing, could that be where by shudder is coming from ???

Truck is a 1500, 5.7 gas, 87000 miles

I would suspect the drive shaft u-joints before I would accuse the LSD

I also have a shudder/vibration/shimmy at speeds of 120 kmH and above. But sometimes it goes away.
Taking the truck in to have the wheels re-balanced (truck has approx. 45,000 km) and the stock HP tires, with around 60% tread left. Man.. these are really poor tires. From almost the beginning, when I drive the truck it feels like the bands are separating in the tires... that feeling radiates back up to the steering wheel. No vibrations in the pedals...

I suspect it's the wheels that are causing my vibration. The wheels just got rotated (last oil change, last week)...I didn't notice this vibration 2 weeks ago. First thing I thought of was driveshaft. Have to wait and see if re-balance makes a difference. Can't wait for these tires to get replaced...NO WAY am I replacing these tires with HP replacements!
