They really suck!
I have a 2010 slt and I find the headlights are dangerous. I can drive with my high beams on and nobody will be bothered.
I'm going to mention it to the dealer, maybe they need to be adjusted or something.
Anything I can do to make them better?
I felt the same problem when I got my truck as well. I felt that a lot of that was just the cheap halogen bulbs that they use. I have been through multiple different upgrades on my vehicles and ultimately the best way to get the most light output would be to fully upgrade to HID headlights. If you do not eat to get that involved there are a lot of aftermarket halogen bulbs that you can upgrade to. I am one crazy person who has tried them all. You can upgrade at your local part store to Silverstars and I would recommend you to spend the extra 10 dollars on 2 and get the ultras. The only problem that I have found with the Silverstars is that in my experience they didn't last long.
Recon also makes a very good upgraded halogen bulb and has a range of different kelvin ratings as to what kind of light you would prefer. I have had these in both of my vehicles and they are working gear with no issues.
Last but not least IMO the best upgraded halogen bulbs are PIAA bulbs. They seem to be Great lasting and have the best light output. Only downside on these are the price.
This is just what I did to correct the poor light output of the stock bulbs and figured you would like to hear from trial and error. Hope this helps
