Default Rockford VS. Infinity

Hey guys! I'm looking to get some 6x9's for my 2011 big horn. I'm stuck between the Rockford Fosgate Punch P1692 and the Infinity Kappa 692.9i. I listen to mostly rock & hip hop. I'd like to have a speaker that has good bass and clear highs. I know if i'd want real good bass I should get a sub. But can't for awhile. Believe it or not I think the bass that the stock speakers had were great! Some even thought I had a little sub inside. But the stock speakers weren't clear at all and started to rattle within a year. I'll be running them off my standard stock headunit but will eventually be getting one of the new Pioneer Double Din DVD players.

Any reviews or recomends. would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!!!

I considered the Rockfords, but the magnets are huge and require modification of the door interior to fit. Went with the Kickers instead.

I'm not a big fan of oval speakers, consider components like this

Hows the bass on those kickers? Is the bass as good as the stock speakers? And did you have to make a spacer to fit the front doors?

Components would be nice but would just make me want to spend the money a full system setup. I just want to get some good coaxils that can deliver good bass and highs.

Haven't getten them yet. Won't be here until next week and probably won't get them in until the following weekend. I basically went with them because of a number of positive comments here and on other Dodge forums. I will post some pics and comments, though.

Thanks! I've decided to go with the Infinity's. But can anybody tell me how thick of a spacer I would need???? And if I could buy one online??
