Default Building an under seat sub box

Well I have all the materials to build a sub box for under my rear bench seat in my 2005 ram. But my problem is that I need dimensions, does anybody happen to have dimensions of a sub box for two tens?

I'm wondering the same thing, looking into building a fiberglass box that will hold a ten inch sub and build an amp rack so I don't need to mount it under the driver seat......

fiberglass box would be best for getting the most air space and use a mdf top panel for the sub mounting...i have a mdf box that i just removed...theres just not enough air space with all the angles that the wood has to make...I can measure the box it self and post them up for you ...the box goes under the whole back seat..

Well I did a couple google searches and found this thread to make a fiberglass box for two tens.
http://www.fiberglassforums.com/subw...dge-ram-3.html

I think I might actually do this but instead of making the top out of fiberglass I'd use MDF(like DTECH said) because I have some lying around, which is why I wanted to build a box rather than buy one. Also it would be a lot easier than cutting a bunch of angles with wood.

Anybody have any input or tips for making a fiberglass bottom with MDF top? Angles and dimensions of the top MDF portion?

http://www.*************/f51/custom-...-sub-box-3235/

Found this on ram forum, i am seriously considering building one like this (as prefabbed ones can be up to $800, WTF????) but all the way across to mount 2 - Kicker CompVT's and hopefully enough room inbetween the subs to mount the amp between the seat and top of the box, otherwise its going under front seat.
I think this looks really good, clean and easy! hopefully fibreglassing isnt too hard :s lol

apparently link doesnt work on the Z.....

So try this.... ram forum/f51/custom-fiberglass-sub-box-3235/

Ya I was wanting to do one to fit both 10s and my amp but I have a large amp so I'd probably just keep it under the front seat. Anybody know have difficult fiberglassing is?

Well my buddy works at handyman hardware so I get a nice discount for the resin and fiberglass. I'm going to tape it up and make a template for the MDF topper tomorrow. Hopefully I'll start fiberglassing Saturday. I'll definitely take plenty of pictures for everyone!

Well I built a frame over the weekend and put down my first layer of fiberglass yesterday. I'll do another layer or two probably tomorrow.

All taped up and frame made:

First layer of fiberglass:

Took 1-29oz can of resin and 1.5 packs of fiberglass mat(package said covers 8 sq ft)
