What is that silver material you used to line the bottom?
Will do! Should be finishing the fiberglass this weekend.
And the silver stuff is just some kind of tape my dad recommended. He had a lot of it and didn't want me using his blue painters tape lol.

today I used 4 rolls of masking tape (dollar store- cost me $40) and 3 rolls of aluminum foil.
I build my fiberglass enclosure so I can take it out.. Im think I could have netted another .25 cft doing like Danz did.
Urs looks great. plz add some more pics of your progress.

voodoo and dan, are you guys separating each sub from the other? I dont recall from the last box i built whether its the best way to go, but it looks like your enclosures are going to be one continuous box?

I wish! It's been raining non stop here and the only place i have to do it is outside . Hopefully I'll be able to do some more soon. I need to do another layer and I made the mistake of not cutting part of the box frame so that it can lift out without hitting anything. I'll definitely try getting some progress done this week/weekend.

I plan on seperating them but I haven't figured out the easiest way yet lol.

Well my project was a complete and utter failure lol. I tried taking out the box to finish it in the garage and ended up breaking it. I knew i could patch holes in fiberglass but i actually ended up breaking a lot if the frame which i wouldn't have been able to repair. A buddy of mine can get be a prefabed box for a lot cheaper than it would be to make another so I'm just going to buy that one lol. A tip for anyone that is going to build one would be to glue aluminum foil to the tape that you laid down and to grease the crap out of it with Vaseline.

02 and up rams!
The box was 185$, up here in northern Ontario you pay for everything. You could probably find something cheaper down there, but would like to see a picture of set up when you get that box.

Nice try with the project though man, it takes time and dedication to go this far and then just be crushed. Sucks, but you learnt for the future!

Dan, Sorry to hear bro! i was really looking forward to seeing your completed box, sucks it ended up this way. Good advice on the Foil and Vaseline, i will still be attempting to fibreglass one myself as soon as temperatures stay warmer than 10 degrees here (and i can steal my cousins shop for the day!)
Bordin, thanks for letting everyone know they do have options when it comes to boxes!
