Lightbulb Wheel/Tire Suggestions. 4th gen ram

Ive been thinking about purchasing wheels and tires for my Ram for the longest time. I cant seem to come to any conclusions. Maybe you all could help me out. I want to stay LIGHT in weight on the wheels and tires. Heres some pics.

If you are using it for a daily driver, then maybe find some factory aluminum wheels so you can still use the tires.

If you want aftermarket, there is a lot out there. Just depends on the budget. Lowering it down a couple inches in the back would make it look better with the new wheels IMO. Nice truck!

I would keep the oem wheels but the problem is they are 7 inches wide and also my tire is that narrow as well. I need to go a bit wider. Im sliding everywhere when its wet. thats a main concern as well.

Ya my budget has a wide range. But i wont pay no 2000$ on just wheels lol. For sure the truck will be lowered in the back. Level with the front when i do make up my mind on some wheels.

Thanks for the advise!

if you were only thinking about looks, i would say don't bother, truck looks good as is. why do you want wider tires?

just my two cents wider tires tend to hydro more in rain, climb up on top of snow in the winter and wonder on gravel.

not necessarily at high speeds. But at stop lights when i tap the accelerator then perform a turn at the same time giving it some gas to go around the corner. Thats when i get the spin. And sometimes i cant go slow because oncoming traffic is headed straight for me. So i have to give it quite a bit of gas in some cases. thats where the problem is lol. i just thought having a little wider and a tad heavier tire and wheels would help me out.

But besides that. What would look good on this truck. Should i stay with 17" or jump to the 20" and sacrifice some speed. (Which i dont want to do) But if i could find a light enough 20" wheel tire combination i could probably do that because i love the way 20's look on these trucks. But i love the speed off take off i get with light 17" wheels.

Buddy of mine jumped from a 17" to a 20" and said he could feel the difference. The wheels felt so heavy on take off.

I'd go with some 20's,If you watch your wheel and tire combo you can still come up lighter then stock.
