this was supposed to be an all new truck, its not all new. So they threw in a new cluster and center section of the dash, inside. And added some new powertrain combos and some headlights and taillights? Also strengthed and lightned up the chassis. Thats all we get? This is just an updated version of what we have already, I wont be trading my 12, its not changed enough to be worth it. Maybe I'll just add the new headlights and taillights, and that center part of the dash to my 12, and keep my payment where it is?

^Just like any other model, they do a refresh after a few years. A new truck will be designed in another 4-5 years.

Just like the 3rd Gen had a refresh mid cycle. There are actually quite a bit more differences, you have the 8 speed transmissions coming out for the Pentastar and the Hemi a little later down the line, active grill shutters, adjustable ride height, auto leveling load suspension which is the one thing I like. They're definitely going to put a cramp on the after market when it comes to suspensions though. If you have the air bag suspension option I'm not sure how well that will work since you'd have to remove it to lift it and I'm pretty sure the computer will pop up on the dash to yell at you about it. And Ram never said they were making an all new truck, just a refreshed version that is now officially RAM Truck.

not a big fan of the gear selector, the interior on that laramie is extremely nice, not a big fan of the grill but that can be changed and is probably an option anyways, same thing as 3rd gen, after 3 years of the same model they updated the exterior and interior in 06 and had that for 3 model years. I would think the same thing here, every manu does something similar time/model wise
