Default Chrome bumper removal question

Hey all, cant seem to find information on this anywhere. Relatively new Ram owner (6 months).

I am looking to remove my chrome bumpers from my 2011 1500 SLT to get them powder coated black. Sounds like its not very difficult to do BUT this is where I can't find any information - what about the sensors on the front and rear bumpers (park assist?.. I shut it off day 1 when I bought the truck and never bothered turning it back on). Will they get in my way? or will the bumpers slide off over top of them? If anyone has any experience with this and could lend some advice or lead me to some directions that would be great.
