Default Tuner Poll

I would kill MDS and tweak torque management. Would consider a slightly more radical cam and headers after 5/100 warranty is over. Also a blower for those weekend trips to Moroso. But then again the tranny would probably need to be replaced with something more stout for the torque it would be throwing at it.

I love my 2011 Ram but dang.....

Between the encryption ...that seems unbreakable as it's been over a year and no programmers.... and the ZF Rear End.......they sure are making it hard on us.

They will have to crack the code at some time. It is the same encryption being used on the Mopar car platforms as well. You think DS or SC is gonna miss out on having mopar products for the rest of their lives? Not gonna happen

Let's see; Wide Open Throttle restriction removed; 91-93octane; tire and gear adjustment; if possible, timing advance.........hmmm, oh and extreme throttle sensitivity. Damn, there goes my 16.5mpg city/hwy mix! Hahaha!

Not saying they don't want to , I am saying it been nearly 2 years since they started trying to make a programer. For a bit back last year DS was saying they might have one by the end of the year .. Soon after they said that they came out with they hit a major problem, then for nearly a year not a word.
I think its very simple the encryption can't be broken .
A tuner can't be made.

I think you're right on the money. No way they're going to skip out on Rams, Chargers and Challengers. No way.

Hopefully your right. I have contemplated getting rid of my RAM because of this damn tuner issue. Doesnt make sense...there has to be more to it than what little info they have released. If they are having issues then why not provide some good customer service and keep us updated...how hard is that, seriously.

Im pretty sure this has something to do with marketing and timing... Hell look whats coming in the near future from mopar.. Superchargers for hemi's. Even the 5.7. So im sure something will be released before all that comes around
