i thought about it, but i think that would be a little too much. i didn't want to overdue it.

besides the goal was to get rid of the ugly grey/silver that it used to be ( hense why its now chrystler white.)

The only way you will possibly get a good (clean) job is to take the pieces apart. It's really not hard to get the stuff apart though, you can do it in less than a day start to finish

Looks good, I want to do the wood in my Laramie, I like the look the gray colored wood in some cars I've seen and was thinking some light coats of a paint that was somewhat translucent might give me that effect.
