Is there any way to turn the mds off completely in the 2012 Ram? There has to be some way to disable this, right? I know you can put the tow/haul mode on or put it in a gear to disable mds but there has to be a way to turn it off. I know superchips could do it in the older hemis but not with the new ones. I was told that there was a way to disconnect something to turn it off but I have no clue what to disconnect.

if there is a way to completely disable the mds, no one has posted the way to do it. just put it in 5th. not sure why anyone would want to disable it though.

Apologies to the original poster for being off topic.
I'd like to see the mds turn off at the slightest throttle movement and only have it activate when the pedal is steady for say... 5 seconds. Also, switch off as soon as there's a drop in engine vacuum or increase in load. I'd also like to see a switch to deactivate it completely if the owner wants it off... most people want the option of turning it off. Putting it in tow made or 5th changes the shifting program and I guess it doesn't allow the converter to lock up or something cuz' it runs 200 rpm higher when it's off.
