Default Good mechanic in Broward County

Hey guys,

Can anyone reccomend a good mechanic in the Ft. Lauderdale area? Have some mods to do and no one to do them.

Need to install my Bilsteins and I'm hoping to do gears as well.

Thanks guys.

Hey Nutshell,

A buddy of mine has his own shop on Sample and power line in pompano and he works with mods and such.

Leonardi Auto Performance & Repair
2501 W Sample Rd # STE-C, Deerfield Beach, Florida 33073
(954) 984-1909

Otherwise you can always go to:

http://www.speedandtruckworld.com
1060 W Sunrise Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311
(954) 760-9922

They do parts, advice, install etc. Actually one of the mechanics at Speed and Truck world has a beautiful 2013 Ram 1500 Sport on a 7" lift with automatic sidesteps.

Good luck

Anyone else have any suggestions? I'd like to have a few places to check out.

I've been watching videos on the bilstein's installs and it seems pretty straight forward. Have you considered doing it yourself? I feel that because of the amount of time it would take, a shop is going to take all your money for that.

Ya know, I've been doing the same thing. It does seem straight forward. Rent a spring compressor and it should be a 2-3 hour job.

Exactly! I called auto zone and they have the spring compressor and torque wrenches for rent. I'm just waiting for the money so I can order and install them.

Oh and Firestone has the lifetime alignment program. It costs you $160 and you can get alignments done as often as needed free of charge for as long as you own the vehicle.
