Default 2004-2006 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L Diesel questions

Hello, i've been trying to get a few questions answered and haven't been able to yet. so i'm posting again.
I am going to buy a 2004 to 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L diesel within the next year or year and a half b4 i go to college. I am wanting to lift it 8 to 10 inches. i am thinking this will work. i want to buy a Fabtech 6" lift, replace the 4 inch rear block with a 6 inch block, then i want to buy 2 inch coil spacers for the front. and that should give me the level 8 inches in the front and 6 inched in the rear that i want.....would this setup work??? or is there any relatively cheap 8 inch lift kits??? please respond!!!
