Default 2010 Ram 1500 w/ bilstein, what will fit?

Hi.

I have rally searched every thread on this super-forum, but still a bit confused.

Im planning to do the bilstein 5100 in the front, and riserblock in the rear.
But I would really like to know what size of tires that will fit?
My first thought was to go with 18", Id like some more rubber, than a low profile, and the tire I have looked at, the Trail Grappler.

Will 18" look to small, should I go with the 20".
Either way, Im intrested in what will fit.
And what does backspacing means?
Here in sweden we are just used to talk about offset ?

Hi,

I will ask this way instead:

Will a 297/75 18 Nitto Trail Grappler, fit in my 2010, if I do the 5100 Bilstein?

yes it will. the 5100 will level it out. I have 2.5 inch blocks on the front with 33x12.5x17. fit perfect. backspacing is the distance from the center of the wheel at the lug nuts to the back or inner edge of the wheel. my wheels are 18mm offset which is real close to factory.

Ok, thanks so far!

So, I should try find some wheels at around 18 mm offset as well, then they will not stick out so much more than my stock 275/60 20 ?

yep that's right. mine stick out maybe half an inch more than my stock ones did. I prefer that so it doesn't kick up all the mud and stones on my rocker panel.
