Default Month of the Mods!

Welcome to my build thread for a 2014 Ram 1500 Sport 2WD. As the name suggest I'm going to be installing a plethora of mods this month, all of which I've already purchased. Below the mod list is a short timeline of what I've been through with this truck as well as all the mods that were completed prior to this thread. Thanks for looking and happy modding!

Performance:
Volant CAI
Diablosport Tuner w/ HemiFever Tune
Magnaflow Dual Exhaust #16869 & Y Pipe
Billet Technology Catch Can
Bully's Performance 87mm Throttle Body

Suspension & Wheels:
Traxda 2” Spacer (Removing when the lift is installed)
CST 4" Spindle Lift & 1.5" Rear Spacers
Icon Vehicle Dynamics UCAs
Bilstein 4600 Front Shocks
Bilstein 5100 Rear Shocks
Fuel Octanes 20x9 1mm
Toyo A/T II 295/65r20

Exterior:
5000k HIDs ( Need to install a new set)
HIR1 High Beams
Honeycomb Grille Completed
Black Emblems Completed
Debadged Completed
Amp Research Powersteps
2500 Fender Flares Completed
LEDs in Hood Scoops

Interior:
Weathertech Mats Completed
LED Map lights Completed
Infinity 3002cfx Dash Speakers
Infinity 9632cf Door Speakers
Kicker Soundgate 10" Sub

I purchased the truck in September of 2013. Here it is sitting nice and bone stock in my driveway.

Here is the truck in October after installing the following mods:
Retroshop Hids
Fuel Octane 20x9 1mm Wheels with 275/60R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers
Weathertech Mats
Led bulbs in the Interior, bed, and license plate lights
Debadged the Ram 1500 and Plasti dipped the rest

Then in November I got into an accident which caused a good amount of damage to the front end. Here is a picture of the truck in March after they swapped the frame, installed a Traxda 2" spacer and Toyo A/T II 295/65r20

This is the truck yesterday May 31st. The only part missing is a plug for the active shutters in the grill then it’s back in my hands. In this picture the shop installed a set of 2500 flares which I purchased on Ebay. I expect to have the truck back this week and immediately starting the modding!

Here is one of the hood scoops which I drilled out holes and installed 5mm LEDs into. I'm wiring these up to the wireless remote pictured below.

Oh wow. Sorry about the accident. Hope everything is alright with you and everybody involved. The truck is looking killer. Very similar to the look I'm going with on my '14 Sport. How did you switch out the LED map lights/dome light? I've heard/seen pics that it is tricky in the '14s with factory LEDs already in there.

Thanks. It was heartbreaking since it was brand new but luckily everyone involved made a full recovery.

As far as the map lights, they are regular bulbs but you do have to pop out some plastic pieces to get to them. The dome light was an led soldered onto a circuit board so I was unable to change it.

My truck is finally in one piece and I should have it back tomorrow as long as the insurance guy shows up. Here are some pictures with the black honeycomb grill and black emblem.

HOLY MODS! thats a big list brother!

Interesting that you decided to go to the honeycomb grill. Mine came with the honeycomb but I'm considering getting a grill like the one you had originally. I kind of think it looks better.

Interested in getting rid of it? I'm going to try plastidipping my honeycomb red to see how it looks, if I don't like it than I would definitely want to switch.

I would of gladly traded but it was destroyed in the accident so I had the body shop buy the honeycomb instead. I'd suggest posting on the forums, I've seen quite a few members interested in trading for the honeycomb grill.

I got the truck back last Friday. Since then I've basically gotten every mod installed. I didn't really take pictures along the way but here are a few pics I snapped on my phone. I'll try and get some real pictures this weekend.

First thing I did was the exhaust. I have to take a picture of the tips but here is a shot of the Y-pipe which is a huge improvement of the crushed crap that came from factory.

This is a shot of the hoods scoops before the lift. I have these on a wireless controller. It looks a bit better in person because you actually see the individual leds.

After the 4" CST lift

Here are some shots of the spindle and suspension. I have to say the CST spindles and Icon UCAs feel much sturdier than he OEM ones.
