You'd enjoy it up here but you gotta remove your front license plate decal before crossing

HAHA yea I made a trip from Seattle WA up to Edmonton Alberta, then from Edmonton over to Winnipeg, then back down to US...I was very nice the whole trip...But I was glad to get to the states, not because I didnt like it up there, it just wasnt home know what I mean. Its funny to think of the whole US as home but I do. I loved driving through the mountains up there man, very beautiful

You gotta come up to Toronto.
Much different than Alberta and Winnipeg.

if you mount em upside down you looks the covers, UNLESS you check out aftermarket covers without HELLA embossed out. theres clear, yellow, blue, probably solid, then just paint em black

Not trying to hog leg your discussion with "dangsmart" or is it "gotbrains"??? LOL hope you know I am joking @gotbrains230... I just wanted to say I always wanted to visit "Oh Canada" and see what you guy's have to offer up there. You guy's are so much like us AMERICANS that I wonder what the real difference is. We only have different accents 'eh... IDK, but I do wanna check out a Blue Jay's game.. Batista is a beast up there the past few years for you guy's. Sorry to interrupt. Please continue.

gotbrains230- I was going to get some lights and install them upside down under my rear bumper so I can see when I am backing out of my driveway. I am interested to find out how those work for you upside down like that. If there is any adjustments you have to do other than just angling the beam where you want it, will it potentially leak water inside, etc...

WHEW!!! I thought I was being an idiot for even thinking about doing that. Glad I am not the only one who thought of it.

Yah, I heard those PIAA's are nothing special. I am very new to all of this stuff and kind of thought about getting K/C or something like that on the front of the truck as well as kind of like an extra light for those times when I want and need it. So the Hella's are what I need to shoot for then? Even over the old K/C? I am sorry if my ignorance is showing badly but I wanna learn.

Yea Im gonna paint the covers black so im not worried about it...I think it would look stupid with a blacked out truck and white covers lol

CBT - when I convert them to HID Im gonna bead RTV sealant around the whole light

yes CBD, hellas are the way to go. for the 5 inch lighting, they have 500 fog pattern(short wide), and driving pattern (long distance), and 500FF (free form, clear lense no reflector style glass) with a fog pattern and a distance pattern. i combo'd both on my front bumper so im set for all occasions, and thats what Matt is doing as well, just with a couple more lights lol.

the 500ff are almost the same price as the basic 500s, so certainly shoot for those.

my PIAAs i got got cheap, broke them too easily, so they ended up as a temporary lighting option for reverse to see if i liked em. ill swap em out for a 500ff fog eventually.

best part is Hellas are stupid easy to convert to HIDs, which almost triples there lighting output/quality. between me and Matt, if you ever dive down that road with Hellas, we got you covered for sure lol.

Wow, thanks Jaron!!! Really cool of ya! I will probably do something like that, just gotta pay off the superchips cortex first, lol... Might be a few months. Got big plans for my truck, but some are just going to take a while to get to. This sounds like I could get it done sooner than later for sure. I'm befriending you guys so I can remember to shoot you any questions I have l8er on.
