AirLift 1000 installed
Get off lazy ass
Jack truck up
You will need to remove the plastic cover that goes over the nipple on the top of bag. Squeeze down as much as you can and fold into "hot dog" shape, then insert plastic cap back on nipple. Insert bag in lowest opening of coil
**NOTE** you can remove the coil and just push it down from the top of the coil. It would be much easier
Once inside coil, remove plastic cap and bag will take its original shape. The installation sheet I had didnt say anything about removing the coil and inserting bag. It said to insert bag, put protector cap on, then hook up air line. Doing it this way was a major PITA. But I got it. By the way, the tires and wheel wells will need to be removed to complete install. I tried many ways to get around it, just not happening.
This is all the room you have to put the hose clamp on hose, if you dont remove the coil. If you do it this way, you will need 90° needle nose pliers, no way around that either.
Then route your airlines, keeping them away from exhaust. I chose to have dual valves, that way I could lift the left side up more than the right, if need be. I drilled two holes and placed the valves in the usual spot. Yes I know they're crooked, and I dont care lol. If someone is close enough to my truck to notice that, they need to back back
Then I filled the bags with 5psi and checked for leaks, good to go
Install complete with 5psi in bags
And with 35psi in bags (maximum), not very noticeable but I gained about 1/2 inch I suppose
Havent driven the truck yet, but Im assuming Ill keep them around 10psi
