Congrats!

I agree with Brad though.... You're never truly finished with school.... there is always something else to be learned, or another class that you want to take, but can't find the time or money to do so...

good luck

Exco

Congrats on the accomplishment!
Man I couldnt imagine being gone for aslong as you are gone for at a time! last summer I didnt do anything but work, I think I took 4 days off in 3 months, Hopefully I can do the same again this summer, maybe try to get out fishing once or twice but it is too hard to pass up overtime shifts.

It my experience, you are never done school, you just end up with smaller class sizes, no instructor and the tests are no longer just a mark on a piece of paper.

A very man once told me -
"School didn't teach you your trade, it taught you how to learn your trade"
He was a very wise man.

Enjoy your new classrooms.
Thanks Brad! that is very true, always learning but atleast from now on I will be getting paid to learn. I learned alot in 2 years but learned twice as much from my 3 month placement last year. I think the journeyman ticket is probably atleast 2 years away for me depending how many different parts of the trade I can see in that amount of time, working underground I should see all of them so I can become licensed sooner, I am fine with that, the money is very good so as long as I am learning new things and being apart of it all than I am happy. I dont think it will be a problem, I love learning just about every trade, I worked for my dad building houses for a long time, leanred how to wire them properly, most of the codes associated with both of thoise trades, just about every aspect of construction

Thanks Exco!! Very true, I guess I nam just excited to get back working, the program I took was awesome, learned alot and it gave me a great oppourtunity to get on with this company twice which is a huge bonus. Maybe I should have worded the school part differently, because of these 2 placement I dont have to go back to school for my apprenticeship
