Question Pedal hardening and rear brake lock up.

Hi guys, i have a 97' Ram 2500 Diesel, my warning lights are on, brakes work fine then soften or harden ocasionally and can hear a ticking behind the dash and the rear brakes then lockup. Its not all the time, but will be a hard pedal most of the time! Very strange, brakes are all new and rear diff has been completley rebuilt, with new abs sensor. Help Please..
