Default 2011 ram hemi no muffler

I just recently cut my stock muffler off and welded a y pipe in its place. I feel like I lost a lil bit of power on the bottom end. I love the way it sounds but not enough to lose power. I dunno if it's in my head or if I really lost power, any advice?

I doubt you lost any power. You can have too big of any exhaust and lose some velocity, but that would take something like 4" dual pipes before that would happen.

I doubt it. I ran 3" from the Y all the way straight out the back and it sounds AWESOME and I didn't lose anything. Pretty sure I gained some extra ponies, in fact.

I took my muffler off, but I still have the stock y-pipe on though, and I could tell for sure that I gained bottom and top end power. And yea, it sounds awesome
