Default Fun in the mud

Had me a little $300 day with two tow trucks and a buddies 4x4 Ford. Ended up misjudging an off road route. Bottomed out the truck and couldn't move an ince. Broke a come-a-long and two 5,000 lb straps.

No, he just needs tires other than Badyear OEM. My Destinations would have pulled you right through that.

I have been far, FAR worse off...unless there is something hanging you up on the underside.

THOSE TIRES SUCK man...Got to get a decent all terrain, then attempt again, you will be fine.

I cleaned it up pretty good today. Needs some more detailing. But I've been looking up some stuff for it. I found a great deal on a 8,000lb winch with 100' spool for $300. Then I do wanna get better tires. With that, I shouldn't find myself in this position again!

Great pics! I go through places like that every week in the Spring time. Here is my solution...Bigger mud tires and lockers would help too.

What fun would that be? You'll find yourself there again, trust me. Once U are there, that's what the winch is for! Don't forget your camera and post up the pics here!

Well I mean I won't pay another $225 for a tow truck and spend 5 hours trying to get out!

I found these though, what do you guys think??

I hope the Winch will mount up to it.

I had a neighbor/mechanic weld me up a 2" receiver bracket and mounted it up on the front of my 2500 where the tow hooks are on the frame. He also made the winch cradle too.
