I got the gloss kit, which come with 4 cans of matte black, and 3 cans of gloss. Im gonna ATTEMPT to plasti dip my rims. And according to the video, they will come out to a glossy black finish. Best part is, I can peel it off and start over when I screw it up LOL
I'm thinking about plastidipping my grille. Thinking about doing the outside and crosshairs black and leaving the inserts chrome. How do you think that would look? Like you said with plastidip if it doesnt turn out good you can just peel it off!

Thanks a lot man i appreciate it!! How did you do your grille.. im thinking of doing mine black and leaving the inserts chrome but not sure how itd look on a grey truck. I also prefer to go up but there are definately a lot of sweet lowered trucks on this forum as well!

I originally sprayed the entire grill and didn't like the whole thing being a solid black since my truck still has the chrome bumpers. All I did was take a razor and lightly scored the lines into the Plasti-Dip and then peeled off what I didn't want. I think it came out pretty nice. Now all I got to do is Plasti-Dip the rear emblem. All ya have to do is clean the surface, make sure you are in a wind and dust free area and spray away. I usually did two light coats a medium coat and then another light coat.

The only thing i dont like is the flat black, which is why I'm glad they came out woth the glossifier. If you go to dipyourcar.com or youtube, the guy shows you step by step how to do it. Funny that when it came out, it was meant for tools, now people are doing they're whole damn vehicle with it. Lol

So i had some free time and decided to tint my tails with VHT Nightshades. I washed the lights with water and soap and then taped off the reverse section and starting spraying. I ended up doing about 4 coats but I am debating on whether to do a fifth coat. Heres some pics.

Before

Second Coat

Finished

I think they turned out decent. Now i need to do the 3rd break light.
