I like the 2500, I can tell a big difference towing, but I wish I would've got the hemi now. It's cheaper to buy, cheaper to operate and cheaper to maintain. This cummins isn't impressing me with the power or mileage, I'm lucky to get 16 max.
That souns a lot like what I've heard others say. A great engine, but unless you modify the exhaust system, it doesn't perform the way you want. I'm not a big mod guy, plus I wanted as much payload capacity as possible, so I went Hemi. Averaging about 14.5 highway, less in town. Not great obviously, but what's a guy gonna do? Two options and niether is great in terms of "getting it all". Overall I've been happy with the Hemi. And it's nice to have lower payments and pay less at the pump.
