Arth, I can 100% recommend doing it.
My wife loves the way the truck looks now. Not that she didn't before.
She was so anti me modding any of my cars until this truck. That includes nagging me about modding my BMW.
This truck for some reason was an exception

Do it! Do it! Do it!

Take some before and afters.
I'm still shocked the 5K didn't work for you or wasn't what you expected.
8K sounds nice though

I will do that, I still have the 5000k bulbs, Ill just put one the 5k back in and show you...technically they were what I expected, but I wanted a hint of blue...I am very happy with the 8k now...Ill take some day and night shots...gotta run into town here in a bit so Ill do it when I get back...I have been contemplating getting projectors for mine...might be adding that to this list...I dont want them for the light output, just for the fact that the whole housing can be painted black, except for the blinker section

Hey I got my rocker switches in, did you?
They are gonna be much easier to install, unlike the switch I have in now...just drill a hole, run the wires from the inside of the dash to the outside, hook them to the switch and pop it in

The blinkers can be painted if you keep your halogen blinkers.
Many have painted theirs.
If I didn't do switchbacks , I would have painted mine.
I'll probably sell mine in a few months as I want all black head lights and projectors in the highs.
We will see though. I'll enjoy these for now.

Unfortunately not!
I'm in Canada so it will take a bit longer to reach me.
What wires (gauge) did you use?
Where did you get the wires?
What did you tap into?
I want to find a constant power source in the rear to avoid all the long runs.
Suggestions?
Again, this would be for a switch for the reverse HID light.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Damn, next time dont be so shy about asking questions LOL...kidding bud, I always use #12, I have no ideal how you would do your reverse if you also want them to come on when you put it in reverse...But if not just come off the battery with an in-line fuse, 20amp since thats what #12 is rated for, run that hot to the switch, and the switched hot to the lights, oh yea if you want the light on the switch to work you have to hook a ground to the switch...If I was you I would scratch the whole constant hot in the rear ideal, and just run a wire back there, but I would find a ground in the back, just one less wire

Shy? Not me.
I am asking now. Lol
I wanted to avoid running from the batter to the rear, but it seems it maybe the option.
Was thinking of grabbing it from inside the cab somewhere an to the switch. Then one to the tail light.
Ill ground in the rear for sure.

I was thinking of putting a power source in the bed by the tailgate as well for future needs.
Possibly a 12V similar to another member. Think his username is bassbolt

Any idea on which wire to grab in the rear that will function both tails?

As long as the switch is off, I should be ok with the reverse functioning properly.
