I finally got around to installing the reverse HIDs and they are BRIGHT as f&ck!
I will still be adding a switch to it to blind those tailgaters
Quite easy to do, just never found the time till today
They are low wattage at 15W so hopefully the housing doesn't melt.
Many claimed it doesn't. No ne has claimed otherwise.
For those of you who don't know, the taillight is held by 2 x torx screw (can't recal the size)

Once remove - this is what it looks like
This is where I mounted the ballast via double sided 3M
The reverse harness will need to cut off or spliced into. I cut it off for ease but left enough so I can reattach if need be
Connected both together and taped it up. I used dielectric grease on the connection to make sure it doesn't corrode

I know it's bright out....hard to compare
Repeated same steps on the passenger side and here is the end product
