Question Turn Signal Problem

When I activate the left turn signal, it will work but then the right signal activates and they both flash intermittently. What is the problem?

Default

simple, don't turn right.

Well, when you hit the right side, is it kicking both on at the same time like your emergency flasher or is it alternating.

If it is alternating it might be the directional switch in your stalk. My last car (mountaineer) had a similar issue and I was able to replace just the stalk for less than $20 from ebay.

If it is starting your emergency flasher, I would say you have some crossed wires.
