I was looking at them earlier this year but I ended up paying about $100 more ($775) for brand new 33" Yoko ATS installed.

The $100 for shipping killed the tread wright deal for me.

UPDATE!! Allright So the treadwrights got the Torture test Today! A trip up an old logging trail called coal mine and some steep ass rocks and deep mud pits nothing could stop these tires!... I kept rolling on in 2WD! while my buddy in a lifted XJ with buckshots had to stop and lock it into 4WD. These tires bite the rocks and trail like they are on tracks... I whent up a grade steep enough to make my beer fall out of my cupholder haha! in 2WD and no problem... My uncle who has been wheeling for more than 20 years and ran almost every mud tire around was extremely impressed with these bad boys.... Then pulling off the trail right back on the highway they cleaned the mud out and the truck rode smooth as hell all the way home. VERY happy!

The lady I called knocked the price of the tires down a hundred bucks so it was like I payed no shipping! The people beleive in and want to promote their product.. Those yoko ATS's don't bite half as hard as these guardogs.

This is good to hear. I spoke with the Fiance about it and she hates the idea of a "used" tire, although I know better. She wants me to get new, so I may be getting the General Grabber at2 but I am still going to try to convince her. The price and customer service just seems too much to pass up.

I also have Treadwright Wardens (E-rated) 185/70/17's (33") - these are a clone of the BFG TA/KO. My experience was also great. They seem like a very good tire (2000km on them in just under a month) showing virtually no wear, and I also got matching sidewalls without even asking. Mine were around $750 shipped for 5 tires (I wanted a matching spare).

I had mine up to 96 mph and nothing unusual except some bounce and the tire noise got a little loud.. given my truck has a 4.10 gearing so 96 is about all she will do. These tires come in Light truck sizes ( not hot rod sizes) and high speed is not the companies prerogative.

i ran these tires on my lifted s10 for years, the mudders also, great tire, never needed anything more than 2wd for the trails and mountain roads, i never had a single problem with the tires, i ran em right up to 97 mph which is all the 4 banger truck had with 4.10 gears and 31 inch tires. i will be buying 6, probably before winter, for my dually......800 through them or 1200 around here......ill take the 800!
