Default 17" Wheels with RCX 6" Lift?

Hello all,

So I got my 2012 Sport 4x4 a few weeks ago and I've been trying to do a lot of research before I start doing any mods. I've read through quite abit a few threads on the forum and haven't came across the exact answer I'm looking for.

So, I definetly going to go with the RCX 6" lift and the Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks to get the most out of the lift. To keep tires cheap, my question is, will 17" wheels work with this application and if so, what backspacing/offset do I need to go with. Thanks in advance everyone!!

J.D.

of course they will work, probably better so you don't really have to mess around with backspacing 17X9 usually give you about 4.53" or so backspacing it's just usually about half the width should probably go with 35X12.5r17, and that should be fine of course everybody has their opinion and someone will tell you about keeping the backspacing here or there cause it's hard on the ball joints, and I'm not saying it's not, but I haven't had a problem yet. If your are wanting to go with some inexpensive tires check out treadwright.com they are a pretty good retread company from what I've heard and they were sponsored in 4x4 offroad magazines. I haven't ordered from them yet but i plan on it, they offer their unique blend called Kedge Grip, probably the closest thing they would have for you is 315/70R17
check this out...http://www.readylift.com/t-tire-calculator.aspx

Good Luck!

P.S. don't try to worry too much about backspacing and offset, its more trouble than it's worth. It's just where the studs meet the wheel at - measured from inside or something like that...
