Cool Just a quick tip

Hey Guys & Gals,

This is not really a mod, but I figured I would share this. I was looking for a smaller cooler for camping and such. I already have a large "deer coffin" and my smaller cooler with wheels recently died. I picked up this "marine" cooler at Sports Authority. I think it was a few bucks cheaper at target. As you can see from the pic, it fits perfectly between the rear seats and the center console. So the kids can grab whatever they want to drink and not bother me or my wife while we are driving. Also, the center console makes a nice spot to put my ipad so the kids can watch movies. The only down side to that is that I used the input on the stereo to play the audio. I forget what they were watching, but there was a police car and I actually slowed down and looked in my rearview to see if I was being pulled over!

Just thought I would share that. Oh FYI, my BakFlip G2 should be here any day.

I was thinking of removing the handle and wheels to give it a little more room. It is a little hard to open the center console all the way when the cooler is there, but not that big of a deal. You do lose access to the 2 cup holders in the middle, but they are way small anyway. My daughter has 2 cup holders in her booster seat so that works.

Oops I forgot that I do not let them eat or drink in the truck! LOL, JK on road trips they can, but not when I am dropping them off at school!

Cool...I have a similar cooler that fits back there between the seats. Makes it very handy for grabbing stuff while on the road.

My CC has ac vents right there that would be blocked by the cooler, does yours not have them?

Yes BUT...you could fit a 100qt igloo back there and still have room for the dog, the kids and possibly the wife to have a freaking disco in the back seat.

Just sayin'.

That's a really nice little deal. I have a little cooler that fits right there in my truck too when I'm road tripping it.
