I ran mickey thompson mtz for a year and a half before selling that truck and absolutely loved them!! performed exceptionally well in any terrain! drove them in the snow lots too and the truck went where i pointed it everytime! truck was also my daily driver my only complaint was that in rainy conditions they were a little slick on the pavement but not terrible

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Treadwright tires yet. I have been doing a lot of research and they seam to be made fairly well and get excellent reviews. The Guard Dog looks pretty decent and that is what I'm considering putting on my truck when the stockers wear out.

Nitto Mud Grapplers are nasty. They have a hum to them as well.

I have Nitto Trail Grappled M/T's and I love them, not noisy at all on the road and when I went home to some good ole East Texas red clay mud they done awesome and cleaned out well. I had the Mud Grapplers on my Titan and after 40k they finally wore down and the noise was horrible on the road. My second choice would be the Toyo M/T or the Cooper STT both were excellent tires for me. As far as the Federal tires go I seriously thought about them before buying my Nittos until I talked to a salesman at Rimzone and was told that they were only good for 20-30k, of course they were about $100 bucks cheaper per tire than the Nittos

i'm running the cooper stt's they are almost the same tread pattern as the toyo mt's. i got 37x12.50lt17 on my power wagon and i love them. a little howl on the road and it's my daily driver. in the mud they self clean real good and on wet i haven't had a problem. damn good off road tire in my opinion
