are the 55w worth it?? i have 35w and they suck they look good but the light output is no different than the regular lights. i really want some new 55w with winter getting ready to roll around

yea... like i said, i need some. i like driving at night and up until a month ago i worked 3rd shift for two years. i really want to get a pair. should i order them from retro solutions or is there another place that is just as good but slightly cheaper to order them through??

ya 55watters are , like fast says, so worth it, also the higher you go in color, the less light you will be projecting, 8000k is really your max color you would want to go, 6000k will give you the max light color without stealing to much light output, I put 8000k cause I like the color and at 55w you don't miss the extra light output your sacrificing.

I really like Retro's stuff and with 6 sets now ordered and installed from them and no issues, I have problems looking elsewhere. But right now if you want to go 55w, all you would need is 2 new ballasts and 2 new lights, you wiring harness should work still and it would already have the resistors and capacitor, so it would be just a question of swapping out the 35's

o ok cool. so if i called retro solutions they could take care of everything then. i will most likely do this within the next month (providing i stay busy at work). bc i need to order an actuator for my tcase and then that will be the next small thing i do to it
