ok so i have a bit of an update/poll. i want work lights in the back and i though of building a headache rack. my dad suggested drilling holes in the bumper and putting them there. any thoughts? he thinks if i build a rack i may have clearance issues. i want to do something as soon as this rain stops though haha

What kinda of clearance issues? I put a lift and 35's on my truck an no clearance issues at all. As long as you don't build the rack way over the cab you should be fine. The lights when mounted right will sit down on the rack and not hover over so you should be fine with building one and mounting them up that way.

update! so i apologize for being so late. i spent my summer in maine and left my truck but i am now back and getting back to work. i am currently trying to remve all the plastic trim on the front bumper. i need to get the bumper off as well but i figured getting the plastic off would make things easier. any advice on those lower screw/tabs on that bottom lip piece. so far those are giving me the hardest time. thanks everyone
