Default strange hum

driving on hwy betweeen 60 and 70 mph, at around 1500 to 1800 rpms, getting an intermittent hum, is this the torque converter issue? 13500 miles on truck. no rattle or vibration. tks all

My wife has a '11 1500 with 4500 miles and I just drove it. Sounds like we have the same thing. 60-75 it sounds like a bull frog croaking. buurp -- buurp -- buurp it drones. The dealer had it 2 days and said they couldn't find it so I got them in it. Showed it dronning - it's solid 60-75. So they ordered a drive shaft and replaced it. I took it on a 60 mile drive and it was gone. Coming back another 60 it happened a few times. Driving 65-70 each time. When mine drones it also gives a noticable vibration also. This was a week ago and I haven't driven it since. ed

Wonder if that's what I've experience since day one. That speed range is exactly where is starts coming in. It's a tight drone....almost like a cell phone vibration through the truck.
