Default Problems with A/C

OK, heres my problem I have a 2002 Dodge 3500 with the Cummins engine. The problem is with the A/C. When I first thurn it on it will blows cold air until I apply the brakes or hit a hard bump. Then it starts to blow hot air. The tempature dial will still be in the cold position. I can turn the switch off for a few seconds and turn it back on and it work fine until I apply the brakes or hit a bump. Has anyone heard of this? I need help.
