Default Cirle-D is Killing It.

Went to the track last night.
Old personal best :14.488 @94.26.MPH.
New personal best:13.615@98.01 MPH

Was totally blown away by the difference a few mods can make, especially my new 258M-2800 stall Triple disc converter from Cirle-D.
Truck was hauling ass.

I also changed out my stock muffler for a custom BB muffler Thanks Billy.
A Flexalight #295 electric fan.
Superchips was changed from 91 tune to 93 tune.
And of coarse my Cirle-D converter; Thanks Chris.
Weather was about 15 degrees cooler out.
Same track, everything else was same as before.
What a difference a few mods can make.
Truck was killing it last night.
A night I wont soon forget.

Great to hear man! That is a HUGE difference! Wish they had tunes out for the 2012s... *Beats the already dead, old, and rotted horse* A converter is def on my list of future things to do! What made you go with the 2800? And not a bigger 3000? Was it the fact that you have not cammed it?

But again glad you had fun! Happen to eat any stangs? (;

No reason to go to a bigger stall.
I actually wanted a 2600 stall.

A 2600-2800 stall is all anyone needs for there truck, unless they plan on keeping it a track only truck.
Not fond off the added heat a higher stall makes,or the fact that the 4g trucks seem pretty tempermental.
A higher stall might help me with .1 on my 60 foot, but i dont expect it would help anywhere else in my times.
I dont know of any NA trucks with higher stalls running faster than mine.

Still having fun, wish I was in the 3g forums though.
Good to see some of the guys still running the fastest trucks.
Not many 4 g trucks running quick.

Trucks running strong, but headwind really slowed me down,so I think I might get a few more tenths out of it.
Pretty stoked with how the trucks running.
Cheers.

Does the converter work for a 2012? What's the cost & installation run? It would be great to have grunt off the line rather than huge TM from the factory.

Anyone know the stall rpm on the stock converter? Seems pretty low.
