Im in the process of getting my dual 10" Type Rs installed. I used to have two 12" Type Rs in a sealed box, but they were too big to fit under my rear seats. So I downsized in size but not quality.

I am currently running a single 10 (Second is on backorder, damn you alpine!) and it hits just as hard as my 12s together. Can't wait to rock both. These redesigned alpines are brand new this year with 20% decrease in depth. They are worth it

FoxAcoustics would be your best bet, I got my box from an Audio store up here. You will need to take your underseat cargo racks out and also add seat risers. Should all come in your kit. With my box all I had to do was remove the cargo floor.

Check out http://www.atrendusa.com. I just picked up the A201-12CP single unit for my 2012 crew cab. I installed my RF R2D2-12" sub and PAC SOEM-T LOC and my PowerZone Crunch PZA700.2 amp that I already had. It sounds great to me so far. Just as good as the larger box I had in my old car. Just finished the install last night and didn't have time to take any pictures yet.

The sub box fits well and I was able to use the same grill as Bordin did above. Also my amp fits perfectly behind the driver side back seat. When the cushion is down it snugs right up against it so I don't have to lag it down.

EDIT: took a pic tonight. I had to rotate the sub as you see it so it would fit flush. It's a stretch to get a 12" in the Ram but it can be done and sounds great.

Hey guys. I used to be a regular here but I got dialed into other stuff for a while. Plus the guy I ordered my speakers from completely $hit the bed. I paid for them 8 months ago and the last of them are on their way now (according to the tracking number, unless that is someone else's order, which would not surprise me). Anyway, I had a build thread on here from ages ago that I will revive once I get going again and finish this build.

I had posted a thread about my FoxBox. There's a bunch of pics and info. I did a ton of research when I was buying my components (except apparently I missed the Better Business Bureau warning on the speaker guy). Anyway, I got the FoxBox 2-12 ported. It's not really "ported", unless you call 2 big vents in the back "ports". I got 2 1243D Type R's and a JL HD1200 after talking to Joe Fox at Fox Acoustics numerous times. I was hellbent on buying much more expensive subs but he convinced me not to. As to whether they will fit, yes they will. I know because Joe is running them in his 4th Gen Ram.

I don't know if it's the best combo or even a good one but hopefully I can report back soon.

And sorry to people who PM'ed me who I did not get back to. I was immersed in other stuff for a while.

Mike

PS - did Diablo finally crack the code yet? WTF with that whole thing? I wish I would have bought a 2010 for that reason alone.
