Default Replace shocks, tie rods, and ball joints?

I have a 98 1500 with 5" suspension lift, 5.2 liter, dual steering stabilizers, 315/75/16 Remington mud tires. When pushing down on front bumper there's to much bounce and it clicks as if the bushing is worn out. So I guess its obvious I need new shocks, but not sure about the ball joints or tie rods. There's very little steering wheel shaking at higher speed but not bad,thinking because of the tire size. But you really have to pay attention to the road because those tires pull you which ever way the road is pitched. How do I check the ball joints? I know that I should start with the shocks and then go from there. Good idea? Just learning about lifted trucks now, always had an Avalanche but recently totaled in accident. Check out my pics. Cheap tires + cheap suspension modification + worn out parts = the reason for your problems.

Those tires are putting a load on your ball joints. They are cheap insurance, replace 'em.
2001 2500 5.9 4x4. Stock except for exhaust

Large tires to any front oem suspension (cars of trucks) is hard on the ball joints, tie-rods, idler arm and pitman arm. The way to check for bad suspensions parts is by jacking up one side to the front so that one of the front tires is off the ground. This will require two people to do this. When you pull on the tire to move left and right there should be none to little play but have your buddy or yourself and check for any movement in the tie-rods, idler arm and pitman arm. Any extra/odd movements replacement for this is a sign of being worn out. Again at the tire pull on the tire to move up and down to check upper and lower ball joints for that tire side. Any movement of the ball joint at the spindle or crack dust cover, replace them. Repeat the same process to other side of truck. Replace ball joints with grease fittings.
