Default 2010 Ram 2500 Ignition Switch Issue

Lately (a couple months now) my ignition switch has been acting up. In order to start the truck you have to push in and up on the key fob. Also twice now the truck has shut off driving down the road randomly. It's acting like the key fob has lost connection with the switch and shut off the truck. Any ideas??

does your truck have a traditional Key or is it the black plastic fob thing? If it's a regular key and you have too many keys on your key ring it can cause excessive weight to mess up the cylinder. I've seen that before but if its the Fob thing, I have no idea. Good luck

Oh man, Check the recalls on that "shutting off going down the road" stuff. Thats a serious safety concern.
I have a 2012 RAM with less than 5000 miles and I have the starting issue with the ignition. I'm trying to narrow it down but it's very intermittent.
