Did you add more layers of glass after your initial amount?
I generally like to get them up to about 1/4" thick so they're rigid.

No I didnt. I was thinking about it but it seemed pretty rigid already so i didnt want to screw it up, as it was probably almost 1/4 inch think anyways.. It was my first attempt at glass too tho

If its translucent like that a few more layers will definitely help with rigidity and mass...both good things with a sub enclosure.

ultimately the goal would be to limit the resonances from the this fiberglass. Adding more layers would not necessarily help that problem. When I got my fox box I noticed and knew that I would have to deal with a lot of resonances coming from the thin tubs used on the fox boxes. I applied three layers of high quality sound deadening mat inside the tubs and it made a world or difference. I would do the same in your application....much easier too!

Thanks for that, i was thinking about dynomatting it, but it doesnt seem too bad. i did add polyester material inside the enclosure and that helped out alot already..

When you put your seat down is it touching the subs? Can someone still sit in the back without damaging the subs?

the seats fold down without touching the subs. you can see in the latest pic that the cloth under the seat has been touched by the subs but nothing to worry about, and had a few people in the back with no issues. I could take another pic of the clearance between the seat and sub FYI if you want.. But i measured it and its not much taller than the flip up covers that used to be there.

Very clean! Like how it looks man! Don't they sell things you can put on backseat to raise it up a little? I need to do a system in my truck but do not know what to do!
