Sorry that you got a truck with issues, I have nothing but good to say about my truck. Quiet, solid, tows like a SOB and looks great. Your title for this thread is a little over the top. You have been given a ton of good advice on this thread, it's the pits you have to take These steps, the dealer should step up. Good luck with your pursuit...

I ran into a similar issue with my 06 GMC. it was just poorly built. Made me a firm believer in extended warranties. My warranty co basically built a new truck in the 7 years I had it. it was in 61 times in 84 months for critical part failures. A nightmare.

Almost 15 months with my RAM and I have had ZERO problems or issues. No squeaks, no body alignment problems, no engine problems, NOTHING! Is my paint job the quality of something that rolled off the Ferrari assembly line? Of course not. But it is absolutely beautiful to me. For a brand new 4x4 Hemi-powered truck that cost me well under $30,000, I could not dream of more. And, after all this time, I still stare at it and smile like a kid on Christmas!

It is sad when one of us has to go through something like this especially when we take such pride in our trucks (or other vehicles) and we are excited when the moment arrives to take possession! So sorry this happened, but as others have said, make sure you take any action you can to have them make it right!

I don't know how close Detroit is to Warren but the trucks not made in Mexico are made in Warren, MI.
