Youll be fine with any of the shorties. They do not move the location of the cat and that is what makes headers a no go in CA.

Ive installed JBAs on a few different 4th gen camaros and the fit and finish on their products is usually spot on.

Get some kind of coating to help keep heat out of the engine bay. If you really want a slick setup find a JetHot dealer and get the jethot ceramic coating. That stuff is exhaust gold! Plus they have a matte black finish you can get that would make everything hard to notice if your worried about the visual or your smog guy is anal

Ordered the JBAs... Hope I don't get popped come time for a smog!

Wish I would've ordered yesterday. They would've shipped on or around the 18th. Now I have to wait until the 22nd or after... dang it!

Hey whats up, I just installed BBK shorties on my 05 bout two months ago now. Wasnt too bad of a job and I had it done in like 5 hours with beer n dinner in between. I did the passenger side first, that was a little harder theres just more crap in the way. Only small snag I ran into was I had to re-route the o2 sensor wire. I didnt have to extend it but like I said just tied it off in a different place. The only complaints I have is the area they want you to reach into to secure the bolts are not made for men, jesus i really had to squeeze my fingers. And the room for the bolts connecting the collector to the y pipe is really small...other than that def noticed a power difference and seems quieter on idle but much louder on acceleration.
