I guess I am going with less loud and more muscular, because I'm gonna dump it out the side right in front of the rear bumper. I've got a 3 1/2 yr old & 7 week old boys and I don't want them to lose their hearing before they turn 10! I've ridden in the back seat before and it is pretty loud and even worse when pulling my 25' triple tube pontoon boat. Probably the same story with the travel trailer I just bought. As long as it sounds good when I fire it up and get on it then I'll be happy. Just glad I will be maximizing my performance and not selling myself short.

Freddy I love your truck and have seen most of the videos you have posted. Your truck kicks ass! What did it run you to get the electric cutouts put in? I know you run spray but am just curious as to what other motor mods you have made besides the cam. Heads? Torque converter? What cam are you running? What are the specs such as lift, duration, lsa? I love watching your truck wind up and go through the gears like a bat out of hell. I know you,be got some mileage on that truck and drive it hard. That is really a testament to the durability of the hemi!

Thank you for your advice and feedback! Keep it coming!

you seem like a guy who knows your stuff too and your truck is awesome, it inspires me on my 3rd gen. how come you dont get a 4th gen? most people usually do just becuase its better, but you just seem to be putting money in yours which is smarter.

Thanks man! I love this truck. I like very very little from having it completely paid off. I think that the 4th gens are pretty nice, but I see that especially on the '12's that dodge is making it hard to modify your truck. I have no plans of trading in this truck ever! I do want another Dodge at some point though. An 06-09 3/4 ton mega cab 4 wheel drive 6.7 cummins. I really like these 3rd Gens. My father in law has a fully decked out 4th gen 3/4 ton 6.7 cummins with the nice nice leather interior and I really like it, but not for what he had to pay for it.

I will make sure and put up a video and sound clips as soon as I get my truck back from the shop!

when do you expect it back?

yea i like the 4th gens alot but at the same time i really like 06-08 3rd gens, the lifted front end on ours really make our trucks look like tanks! do you have air bags in the rear to help with the trailer? my little 6x10 with my 4 wheeler makes mine squat to about even with the front

I just installed airbags on Wednesday. It is a kit from Firestone and goes in super easy. you run it between 5-100 psi. For every 1 psi = 50 lbs of additional support. I agree that it is easy to squat your back end down. Both my 25 ft Pontoon and 30 ft travel trailer push it down more than I like. NOT ANYMORE!! I installed the pressure fill/release valve inside of my gas door so its outa sight outa mind.

I had to force my muffler guy to take my money as it was too easy for him to weld in the Y's..I did my own wiring, ran it from underneath carpet under rear seats to a switch incab

Also bagged it so i could tow my boat...wired the compressor to the cubby pod..
