Default Estimated MPG w/ 4 inch lift & 35s

Hey guys. This question is probably arbitrary when lifting but I'm curious as to what kind of gas mileage you guys are getting with 4 inch lifts and 35 inch tires. Thanks for the help.

Ha, I don't know what I'm supposed to be getting, but I'm anywhere 6-9 mpg. Megacab, 35 12.5 20, no lift, just 2inch lvling kit. I think mainly I get around 7-8 when driving on like a highway, city prob quite a bit less.

Adjusting your gears will help with your Gas mileage 7-8 thats ROUGH! Your gas mileage will also depend on how heavy your foot is. I'm going 7"lift with 35's and probably going to hit 13MPG area. But I try to keep the ECO light on as much as possible!

Yeah this my first truck, and I drive it like I drive my 350z. (well almost haha, after a few 200 dollar a week fuel ups I'm taking it easier). But Im starting to look into gear changes, I'm clueless in that department though lol

I hear you, im new to the truck world as well (I grew up with them my whole life) but first owned truck! What I did was browse and browse over and over through the forums and found ALOT of information. You'd look into a 4.10 gear ratio or even 4.56 (If you plan on going bigger tires in the future). It is a decent chunk of money but I hear Its 100% worth it.. I'll be getting mine done here soon just saving my pennies.. Its more expensive for 4wd than 2wd keep that in mind but im assuming you got a 4wd

Dam yep 4x4 here... Man that blows, I was hoping with my next chunk of pennies to get a lift and then the automatic steps/sound system ... How big of a chunk for 4.10? I think I'll stay with 35s haha.

OP sorry for kinda hyjacking your thread, hope you needed this info as well haha.

Hopefully a lot of people will chime in on this. I really want a new 2500 (Hemi) with a small lift and 35's. If I can get 13mpg, I'll be happy.

16MPG is quite optimistic. Youll be looking more 9-12 from what most people report
