Outstanding!!!

Was I that obvious??
Maybe I should dazzle her with some bling first......then go for the lift!!

Oh yeah, back on topic...no more issues with the keyless, must have just been a fluke.

Dude its gotta be the color, mine, every once in a while, the FOB wont unlock the doors. I could be standing right next to the damn thing and I have to press it repeatedly 20 or so times, then it works.

Embarrasing, especially when the truck is freshly detailed and you go to get into your badass looking Ram, and the door wont unlock.

I have the exact opposite happening. Sometimes I go to unlock my truck and it doesn't work. Sat there the othe day for 5 minutes pressing the keyfob like an idiot trying to unlock my door! It finally unlocked and when I got home I grabbed the spare fob thinking it was the battery in the old one and later that day went to unlock my truck and it happened again. The spare fob was barley used and practically brand new. Now I carry both fobs with me. Going to ask the service guy about it next time I take my truck in.

yup, I've had the refusing to unlock thing going on too! Standing right by the drivers door both times it's done it, of course with my hands full so getting to the stupid emergency key in the fob is fun.

My big worry is with mine LOCKING it has engaged the remote start. i can just see myself wrenching under the hood and the crazy thing firing up with my hand in a bad spot...really going to have to get the safety switch wired up for the remote start!! Hate that others are having problems with it too, but glad to know its not just me. I was starting to think my Ram hates me!

im no engineer by any stretch of the imagination, but im thinking it has to be some sort of electronic interference..like someone else has a similar product in my neighbourhood and they are using it and causing interference in my house.

for example, if you've ever had a baby monitor on, you can sometimes here your neighbours kid, i believe that there are only so many frequencies available for these products, and no doubt, at sometime, some one near you will have a product with the same or similar frequency that will definately interfere with your product. i believe this principal is why garage door openers use rolling codes (always changing so a random joe cant just find your frequency and open your door). i dont think the practice of rolling codes is there for key fobs yet.

i admit, i havent looked into my celing fan problem yet, but i did think to try the battery. anyhow, not sure this helped, but my finaly guestimation is some interference from soomeone else's fob...but now im curious about my betteries...hope i have some double a's.
Hey we must have the same fan, fan works good but the light goes on and off as it chooses but only after you turn it on LOL, I got a new control already once and it still does it. So weird.

It was going fast enough to engage the remote starter, 3x lock to start. It got to the point that it would try to start, but would then shut itself off before it had a chance. There was some lovely starter sounds going on. I disconnected the remote starter, but was still locking itself. I took the fob apart, looked at it like I had some idea what to do, put it back together and it seemed fine. I guess I should be glad it was locking and not unlocking, but still a little weird. Anyone else had this happen? Hope I didn't piss off the Ram by taking stuff off.
My 2009 SLT with factory remote start has had problems since 3 months old. Vehicle will start by itself at any different place I park, the front windows will roll down halfway sometimes, along with having to push the fobs multiple times at given times to unlock/lock the vehicle.

It is not the fob in pocket syndrome, it happens with fobs hanging up.
It happens all over the area where I work, live, hunt etc.
Not great coming back to find windows half open in a mall parking lot.

Three years later, I finally threatened NJ Lemon Law and DSodge National, not dealerships changed the win mod, the Timp something, the wire harness', the factory remote interlocks, and I am waiting, hopefully, that this is solved. If it starts one more time I am ready with the old attorney who seems happy with all my chronological repair orders, that he will suceed in a new truck or money back. I just waqnt my Ram to work, I have put to much time and money in her to dump her.

But I would keep records on dealer visits in case you need them.

Good luck, I hope your problem is easier than my is.

Have a good weekend,
Richie
