Default 2011 ram chrome clad removed and powdercoated!

I have researched every forum for pics of dodge ram wheel clads removed and powdercoated and found nothing useful. We just did a set last week and thought i would post pics. THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISMENT! I am just letting people know there is another option to your factory wheel.

Taking the clad off is easy. Just pry up edge with plastic crowbar and slide it around edges. Then you pry up on each spoke until it pops off. It takes about 10min a wheel. I took the glue off with a air grinder using a course pad and then sand blasted before powdercoat. I am the powdercoat shop. I did this for a customer last week. Not looking to advertise work and don't want the thread pulled by getting into what I charged. I just wanted to show pics and give people an idea of what they can do for a fraction of the cost of buying new wheels. Glad you like it. I'm having center caps machined this week so i will post pics when finished.

$125 sounds about right especially if they are willing to remove the clads for you.

That looks great. So i take it that what I thought was a center cap is actually one piece with the cladding?

I guess if you really wanted to you could put them back on without really damaging the powder. The clads came off without any damage.

Yes the center caps are part of the clading. I've search everywhere for plastic caps that will fit the center but looks like machining new caps is the why to go. Little slow on getting this done but will have pics soon.
