i didnt do a h or x pipe because honestly this was a "hey im gonna go get exhaust" thing with no real planning...no sound clips yet but i do have a couple somewhat crappy phone pics lol.

how big are those pipes..they look waay too big for effective scavenging

2.5" is correct but thats the biggest 2.5" i've ever seen , mine are 3" and they look smaller than yours... right where the pipes meet to run parallel you should have an H welded in, this would be very simple for your muffler guy to do.. like this

i just done a little reading on scavenging and i think you're right, i prolly need a crossover in there.. i think im gonna go with an x instead of an h, seems they are a little more efficient i guess you would say.. that should cure that little bit of a raspy sound its got too

Yeh those look bigger than the drive shaft and it is like easily 3 or 4 inches.

must be weird lighting or angles in the pics cause i measured them and the are 2.5

I see why they look bigger..my driveshaft is the big aluminum one and you have the steel shaft which is thinner... which makes your pipes look big...

Hey redlightmike did you ever get that new stall put in? i have the same truck and thinking of doing the 4.10 upgrade.. if you dont mind how much did ity cost you to do that? im really intrested hope to hear back thanks!
